“ We had a fantastic dining experience at this hidden gem in Logan, Ohio. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. Bryan, our waiter, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great experience. For an appetizer, we tried the Pretzel with Homemade Beer Cheese Sauce, which was excellent. The rich, creamy sauce paired perfectly with the warm, soft pretzel—though we would have loved a little more pretzel to balance the generous portion of cheese! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Grilled Dill Salmon, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection, while my friend enjoyed the 58 Burger, a well-crafted and satisfying dish. Both were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Spiced Cranberry Mule was a refreshing twist on a classic, and the Expression Martini was smooth and well-balanced—a must-try for coffee lovers. Overall, this was a fantastic first impression, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area! ”
“ Very nice The atmosphere is great. The food is well thought out and executed. I had the tomahawk porch chop. It was grilled and seasoned to perfection. The vegetables that came with it were roasted and had very good seasoning. I would recommend it. They do tend to get busy, so making a reservation is best. ”
“ An amazing place in Logan. 20 minutes drive from the hocking hills park. Totally worth it. The staff are super friendly and polite (Bryan was awesome). Both our dishes were spectacular. Pasta had so much flavor and the chicken burger was perfect. I got the coffee porter-really loved it. Wife got the pink moscato and it was great. Ambiance and as very good. They have outdoor seating too. Overall a great experience. ”
“ Great Food! The fried green tomatoes were out of this world! The wine flights were amazing! Left with a bottle of Zinfully Sweet! The self guided tour was cool, and the restaurant itself looked really nice! ”
“ Me and my husband were in town for a week for vacation & hiking. We ate at 58 West three times (we might even stop in for a fourth before we depart,) it was just that good! The servers are absolutely wonderful - Brian served us twice and he was genuinely kind, helpful, and was very attentive in checking in on us throughout our visit. He was even fantastic with thinking of the smaller details such as swapping out our fries for a burger order (the first time they came out they were a little sad - but totally okay- but the new batch he brought out made them a 10/10 experience,) he even brought us waters and sweet teas to go. The food quality is some of the best we’ve had in quite some time - this is definitely a hidden gem for a rural area. We had the Colcannon Cakes, Fig Goat & Potato Skins, Hot honey BBQ chips, Deconstructed Cordon Bleu, Tomahawk Pork Chop, Shrimp Rissoto, 58 West Burger, and the Italian Chicken Flatbread. I convinced my husband into getting the tomahawk pork chop as it’s usually not his go to choice but he wanted to try something new and he loved it. It was so tender that it cut like butter and the char gave it a nice smokey taste. The deconstructed cordon bleu was also a highlight- a spin on a very old classic- but I think it gave it a nice facelift. The chicken was fried perfectly, the salty ham and mustard seed brighten it up. Their cocktails are definitely worth the price and are poured very well. We got the Smoked Old Fashioned Twice - they bring out a glass sitting on a smoking wood plank and pour it right in front of you. I think this is a nice touch and adds to the experience. I got the Cucumber Honeydew Vodka martini and it was very refreshing. Overall we had an amazing experience coming here, we hope 58 west is around for many years to come and I think you guys are doing something right! ”
“ Wow, where to start! 58 West is one of those "hidden gems," for sure! Their food is excellent. Their staff and service is excellent. Their beer, wine and cocktails are excellent. And the building and vibe is awesome. My boyfriend and I are passionate about finding those local hidden gems to support, and from day one this one jumped to the top of our list for Hocking Hills area. You won't be disappointed! Other than being a little pricey, you are paying for fine dining and exceptional ingredients, this place is definitely a place to check out! Their menu changes seasonably, so keep that in mind when checking out menus on here. ”
“ Well, the photo of the empty plate was what happened immediately after the fried green tomatoes appetizer hit the table: Best. Ever.!! I had the Sriracha Grilled Shrimp & Meatloaf with asparagus and rice special, OMG, how fantastic it was! Great meal and awesome experience, #1 stop when we find ourselves passing through SE Ohio and Hocking Hills area off 33! ”
“ Wife and I have been celebrating our first wedding anniversary with a trip to Hocking Hills. One of our dinners was at 58 West. The atmosphere is cool inside, with high ceilings and vintage brick walls. Brewery tours on site too. Our server was friendly and attentive. My wife had a wife flight made up of Hocking Hills winery options. All 4 she picked were very good and we ended up with 2 bottles to go. We started with the cashew quest dip which was excellent. The pita bread with this was surprisingly a great part. My wife had a kobe beef plate with mashed potatoes. She really enjoyed it. I had the scallop plate with risotto which was prepared well. Portions aren't huge so don't expect generous amounts but flavors are good. To finish, we had the carrot cake. A touch sweet but didn't stop us from finishing it. Overall, a great dinner and we would stop again. Give this place a shot ! ”
